Tube Bending: Our bend shop has four Pines rotary draw bending machines, manned by experienced, fully trained operators, to bend tubes from 1″ OD up to 6″ OD. Bent tubes are held to strict tolerances for compliance to the ASME Code and are fitted to a full size, CAD-generated template to assure a perfect fit-up in your boiler.

Hot Bends: Close radius U-bends are draw bent to a preliminary radius, then induction heated and forged to the final configuration.
Code Assembly: Bent tubes are assembled into superheaters, reheaters, economizers, and other boiler pressure parts per ASME Section I. Welding procedures for GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), FCAW (Fluxcore), GMAW (MIG), and SAW (Submerged Arc) are all certified to ASME Section IX. Our welders are fully certified, proud of their work, and proud to have their work seen in these pages. We are experienced with the demanding fabrication requirements of P-91 and T-91 materials.

Waterwall Panels: Bent or straight membrane sections for boiler and furnace walls, floors, and roofs are automatic submerged arc welded for strength and accuracy. Panel bends, openings for burners and other access ports are computer designed and precisely located.

Header Work: Headers of any size, drilled or stubbed, carbon steel or alloy, round or square, are fabricated and post-weld heat treated to ASME code. We install hand holes, steam connections, support lugs, and other attachments as required, on waterwall, superheater, economizer, or intermediate headers.
